Let me make one thing Crystal clear. I do not object to paying for things so long as the cost is reasonable. One dollar for a candy bar, fine. $25 for an entire box of candy bars, fine. 3500+ dollars for a headset that barely does anything, not fine. $60 a year to open an app and read a book, also not fine.

OK guys, question. I’ve been external drive shopping today. I found a one terabyte spinning drive for around 70 bucks. The same capacity of SSD is over 120. However, I found a flash drive with the exact same capacity for 40 bucks. I need to know which of these is going to run faster, because I will be storing most of my stuff on it from now on

I just found out that Samsung has a physical fuse in their devices that will blow to prevent operating system rollbacks. That sounds like a very good way to blow out a totally functional piece of hardware because of one software glitch. Seems like a design flaw to me. This is going to sound extremely bizarre, but it is really too bad modern computers cannot work with floppy disks. One of the things I would love to be able to find, even though it doesn’t exist, is a USB floppy drive, and a bunch of discs, just so I could play.
