I had an interesting debate with a colleague today: is it effective to use “” strategies to propagate good information, and is it ethical to do it? Things to the tune of « Denial DESTROYED with FACTS and LOGIC» (divulges science on anthropogenic CC) or «Everything the MSM is HIDING‌ about the real ‌ RISK» (on the catastrophic short, medium and long-term damage of reinfection).

What's your take on it? Boost for reach.

(Usare termini stranieri perché non si è in grado di trovarne equivalenti nella propria è segno di povertà linguistica dei parlanti, ma non sempre usare termini stranieri lo è)

@filippodb in realtà Signal è installato ma non lo uso perché non ho nessuno che conosco che lo usa, Element solo un paio di stanze... per il resto i soliti obbligati da altri (quelli che se gli chiedi di usare altro strabuzzano gli occhi e ti guardano con commiserazione)

All this talk of has certainly triggered some nostalgia for the in me. Perhaps it's time to read some of the old sourcebooks (I've bought all of the previous-edition books on the Dungeon Master's Guild over the years).

Yes, there are a lot of clichés of in this setting - but many of these are only clichés because the Forgotten Realms established them.

And for the record, I've never shared the most common complaint about the Realms: "There are two many high-level NPCs around who could sweep in and steal the show from the PCs!"

For the Realms are staggeringly vast, and I default to the assumption that all these high-level NPCs are extremely busy with their own stories and their own lives.

(In Europe "civilization" was already there, even if half buried by "barbarian invasions")
Sadly, there was no Western (I think), or many other things (from Europe or America, or Asia etc)

But it's interesting when you have a general vision of FR world*, what world it is, what it could be, what will never be, what ideas you can put in it. I like being creative & mixing many inspirations, but you should always know what are the limits.**

Perchè #Linux ha superato il record del 3% delle installazioni globali su PC dopo anni di stagnazione? Io non mi sorprendo, #Gnome nelle ultime versioni ha finalmente creato un ambiente semplice e minimale che non fosse un'ennesima complessa copia di Windows. #Flatpack e #Snap permettono finalmente installazioni delle applicazioni senza complicazioni!
Ultimo colpaccio è stato l'adozione di linux su #SteamDeck nel 2022 che ha portato molta più compatibilità con i giochi 👍

@oblomov a me è arrivato un pacco da ignoti, non atteso, per il ritiro la cartolina indicava l'altro capo della città, sono andato ed era chiuso perché ho scoperto aveva un orario assurdo tipo solo le ore centrali del pomeriggio (in cui lavoro) escluso il sabato.

Dal labirinto convoluto ci trarrà fuori solo il filo di Arianna, ovvero il filo del discorso. Mettere in ordine, in sequenza idee e concetti per mettere in relazione parole e darci una direzione.
