That's what makes Measles and Covid so devastating- not only are they killers in their own right, they also make it possible for once-thought-extinct diseases to come roaring back
@iquaanyin So glad I got a Measles-Mumps-Rubella booster this spring. I am in that demographic where my original vaccine was likely no longer effective and was relying on herd immunity to keep me safe. Well that went out the door with the onslaught of anti-vaxxers.

Animal products, fishing etc use up a lot of petro chems, water, land & habitat, in feed crops, rearing, waste products, transporting, slaughtering, refrigerating.
Humans need to transition to more grown products, less caught and reared products. Banning innovation that could help people get there is a horrible misstep.
