Apparently, there is a Life article in the Grauniad today on how people over 60 met, scoffs the OH. Not a patch on us. Me ( first words to now OH) “Would you like to go to the climbing wall. Women make such elegant climbers!” The rest is history plus a few climbs.

This was a message for British mobile phone users. I have been in Spain for two weeks now and have not been able to use my Vodafone mobile phone to speak to anyone in that time. I seem to spend hours every day trying to sort it with them but to no avail. I have never had a problem in the past but cannot solve this one. I point out that not being able to phone my wife is quite serious especially as we are both in our late 70s!. If anyone can pass this message on to Vodafone I would be grateful.

These companies go out of business and disappear to avoid the cost of of clean up after a well field is closed.
Then the people who ran these "defunct" companies come up with a new name to operate under and start working again for the oil corporations they serve and provide with enough distance from the environmental damage so they, too avoid the cost of clean up.
Clean up is left to the states where oil exploration is conducted.
