This is a violation of the narrative that smartphones are ruining kids mental health to the chagrin of parents.

The reality is parents chose to buy kids smartphones with or without taking advantage of parental controls. Those same parents will have strong opinions about phone bans.

Well, we thought wouldn’t make it to the end of the week. Last night, I thought he would go (tears), but here we are and he is still sitting next to me. He only licks some of the fat from a tin of cat food contents. We hand feed him Temptations now and then and he still laps up quite a bit of water. We would have been walking in Lisbon today, but we postponed our trip for him last week so he better hangs in with us a bit longer.

Looked hot today doing a work thing in a nice, date worthy dress. (WIN SOME).

By the time I got home, after a side quest errand, ink was all over a side of my light colored work tote. Possible that a pen leaked inside the packed bag but there was no stain inside. Also possible that my ride back had some sort of ink on the backseat. I swear I did not see the stain earlier in the day. (LOSE SOME).

From talking to friends who've tried Waymo, the technology is surprisingly good and close to a magical experience.

While I'm still skeptical that this can ever be a huge profitable business, it's clear that Waymo has the tech figured out on these routes.

@carnage4life Let me tell you how super frustrating it was to see the cars around town during their testing phase and not being able to ride them over the past few years (I'm in Mountain View).

Can't wait to ride them when they finally get rolled out to the SF Peninsula.
