Just watched Ali Velshi's excellent interview with conservative former Israeli PM Naftali Bennett: direct, unflinching. This is the kind of conversation--of journalism--we need to better understand what we are dealing with. Velshi stayed in control.

Die Impfung ist für den Großteil der Bevölkerung nicht einfach und nicht kostenfrei erhältlich.

Politik und Medien (!) suggerieren seit einem Jahr, dass Corona vorbei und für die meisten Leute "harmlos" sei.

    @isotopp Deutschland hat eine geregelte Autospur in den Recyclinghof, mit einer fußgängerbreiten "Radspur", und wie man seinen Krempel dahin kriegt, ist privates Pech, ausser man hat in das Glück, eins der Handvoll leihbaren Lastenräder zu ergattern. (Aber das war dir sicher klar).

    In die Virenbundesliga kommt nach Wochen der Rhino-Dominanz etwas Bewegung: Covid hat aufgeholt und ist jetzt etwa gleichauf. Hätte ich schon vor ca vier Wochen erwartet.
    Entweder Covid tut sich unerwartet schwer (was ich vermute) oder die allgemeine Pfotenwasch-Disziplin ist komplett für die Tonne.

    @tagesschau ein Bahnhof ist ein Ort, an dem sehr viele Menschen zu und von vielen verschiedenen Orten unterweg sind, die Metapher Weltraum-Bahnhof scheint mir (nicht nur von der technischen Seite) daher eher unpassend

    Menschen, der Verlag braucht Soli, mir zieht gerade eine Steuernachzahlung das letzte bisschen Boden weg. Bitte gönnt euch, wenn ihr noch ein paar Euro locker habt, was im Verlagsshop und macht auf allen Plattformen Werbung. Würden mehr Menschen etwas vom Frohmann Verlag mitbekommen, könnte er vermutlich ohne solche Hilferufe existieren – das ewige Indieproblem.

    Habe am meinen ersten und letzten Muscade de Provence rechtzeitig vor dem Frost heute Nacht geerntet. Laut Anleitung reift er nach der Ernte noch nach. Der gewählte Standort war im Sommer deutlich zu trocken. Die Pflanze brauchte ewig, bis sie abging und hat erst ab September mit Beginn der Regenzeit so richtig bemerkt, dass sie noch am Leben ist und das ja mal ausnutzen könnte.

    Ich versteh nicht mal was "irreguläre Migration" ist. Wir sind durch die Genfer Konvention dem Asyl verpflichtet und durch Schengen den offenen Grenzen der EU. Deutschland hat kein klar geregeltes Einwanderungsverfahren, keine GreenCard oder gesponsertes Visum. Ich bin so wütend über diese Augenwischerei zugunsten der Faschisten.
