Was hast Du bestellt? Aktuell stehen da auch bei vielen Rädern Liferzeiten von 6-10 Wochen, da wären die ja noch voll in der Zeit.

Aber, wenn jemand bei solchen Beträgen nicht antwortet wäre ich auch nervös. Daher bezahle ich mit Kreditkarte, und wenn dann in ner Mail "Chargeback" als Option fällt, habe ich noch immer eine sehr flotte(!) Antwort bekommen.

Mir ist ja letzte Woche der -Sattel (+Stange) geklaut worden. Gibt's in der Tipps und best practices, wie ich sowas in Zukunft verhindern kann? "Mitnehmen" ist leider nicht immer praktikabel.

Da es um ein Faltrad (Tern D7i) geht und daher Höhenverstellung der Sattelstütze ein tagtäglicher Vorgang ist, sind irgendwelche abschließbaren Schrauben oder whatever auch keine Option, die Sattelstütze hat halt nen Schnellspanner.

Zusätzliches simples Drahtseilschloss vielleicht?

@scy Wenn's nicht 100% diebstahlsicher sein muss würde ich ein Drahtseil mit Klemme aus dem Baumarkt empfehlen. Ein Ende am Sattel, eines an der Sitzstrebe. Mit der richtigen Länge hat man sogar einen Anschlag für den Auszug, und muss die Sattelhöhe nicht jedes mal "nach Gefühl" / visuell justieren.

PS: Zur Frage woher die Farbe kommt, siehe auch den Abschnitt "What are tanwall tires anyway?"

"Tubulars had tan walls because of their construction. [...] These tire casings were usually made from natural fibers like cotton, which became tan in color after being processed and sealed. Tire tread was then glued to the top of the casing. The tan sidewalls remained exposed, thus producing the classic tanwall look."

So wie ich es verstehe ist "Skinwall" der Name für Tanwalls bei denen die Farbe durch eine textile Unterkonstruktion kommt (wie eben vor 100 Jahren). Tanwall ist dann der Überbegriff der Reifen einschließt wo einfach Gummi im entsprechenden Farbton verwendet wird.

Wie ist Eure Erfahrung mit der Batterielaufzeit? Ich habe die vor ~3 Monaten gewechselt, und jetzt schon die blinkende Batteriewarnung. In der Zwischenzeit nur 10-12 Mal benutzt. 😞

@christianschwaegerl Hängt daran weswegen es gebrochen ist / weswegen da eine 8 ist.

Es kann sehr einfach sein, wenn Du nur die Speiche ersetzen und eine gleichmäßige Spannung herstellen musst.

Wenn es aber danach noch eiert (oder kurz darauf wieder andere Speichen brechen) wird es ohne einen guten Zentrierständer echt mühsam. Es gibt Workarounds, aber DAS würde ich mir nicht antun.

Wer vom hat sich nur die Anordnung und den Typ solcher Abstellmöglichkeiten für Fahrräder überlegt?
Bei kaufen bestimmt wenige Radelnde ein. Die Läden sind in Kombi mit etc. auf den getrimmt.
Deshalb sind diese "Dinger" und die Verortung im Grün nur als Alibi zu sehen. Schade ums Geld!

Radabstellanlage direkt vor dem Eingang von DM in Dornstadt. Es handelt sich um Radklemmer, die ebenfalls in einem Grünstreifen mittig untergebracht sind. Der Grünstreifen ist ohne Bäume, jedoch auch mit einem ca. 5-7 cm hohen Bordstein eingefasst.

Nein... Links ist nutzbar für alle die gesund und kräftig sind. Aber sonst, will ich da nicht mein Lastenrad über die Schwelle heben müssen. Ergo: nicht Barierefrei.
Rechts: Biete gar keine vernünftige Möglichkeit ein Rad am Rahmen anzuketten. Und direkt vorm Eingang ein Fahrrad plazieren sollte schon aus Brandschutzgründen tabu sein!

The train is quite empty. As far as I can tell there are 2 non folded bikes on board, and space for 12.

And the reason for your stupid bold reservation rules isn’t our safety. It’s because the Région - for cost reasons - ordered trains that are too small.

    Ultimately, DB cannot have it both ways - either DB Navigator plays a quasi social function in public transport in Germany - so must sell any train ticket (even non-DB ones)

    Or we see what tools the market can build - and we go for an open data model, inc. data on live running - and whoever builds the best product wins out

    But for the moment DB is refusing both of these routes

    (I'd - mildly - favour the open data route)

    @jon At least within Germany I always felt to have reasonable rights with DB tickets, even with other local operators involved.

    And with more liberal ticketing, I'd guess we'd and up with recommendations similar to airline travel, where many people say "Use search engine X for finding the trip, but buy at the airline."

    Some operators would probably even pull stuff like "If you're on a stuck train, you'll get drinks or taxis if you bought your ticket with us." if it isn't forbidden.
