Nachfrage für jemand in Dtl: Sie bekommt Bürgergeld und ist darueber auch krankenversichert.

Wenn sie mehr als €145 pro Woche als Freiberufliche verdient, bekommt sie kein Buergergeld mehr und muss sich selbst selbst versichern.

Wie macht man das und wieviel kostet das?

(So habe ich das deutsche System bis jetzt verstanden. Korrekturen willkommen)

Am 9. März 1972 beschloss die Volkskammer der DDR, dass ab sofort Frauen bis einschließlich der 12. Schwangerschaftswoche sich für oder gegen das Kind entscheiden können. Die Entscheidung lag ganz bei ihnen. In der Präambel des „Gesetzes über die Unterbrechung der Schwangerschaft“ hieß es: „Die Gleichberechtigung der Frau in Ausbildung und Beruf, Ehe und Familie erfordert, dass die Frau über die Schwangerschaft und deren Austragung selbst entscheiden kann."

  • Klimaziele und dazugehöriges Gesetz jahrelang ignorieren, ungebremst Autonutzung ausbauen
  • Gesetz mit Klimazielen so ändern wollen, dass Nichtstun weitere Jahre rechtlich möglich ist

I can understand his frustration, to a point.

But "compared censorship in the West to forms of political oppression he experienced in China under Mao Zedong, describing the situation as “sometimes even worse” than what he faced growing up"?

People were sent to labour camps then, people died in masses.

A cancelled art show is not even close to that.

He can voice his frustration to a media outlet and it gets broadcast.

Good luck with that in Mao's China ;-)

He spoke on Murdoch's SkyNews, the mother of all facts, after all. It has News in the name, it's not an arts show.

But, yeah, with Murdoch one never knows ;-)

I think hyperbole does not do any good. It cheapens the point one wants to make.

And for historians, it's a shiver to hear such misleading statements.

So, folks, when you speak about Arch Linux, be aware that "Arch" sounds like a slightly misspoken "Arsch" to Germans, which means arse.

Butting into conversations with "I use Arch, btw" sounds different to us.

    They don't belong to Australia. They are an introduced species.

    @aral There are various meanings for the word gimp.

    However, familiar with GIMP for long time I never thought of it. An abbreviation as a name for a program, nothing else.

    At times it feels a bit confected. A master slave configuration describes exactly the way database replication works.

    It's a bit insulting to our intelligence. It feels patronising.

    I think the regional conferences are a great idea. With today's tec one can put two rooms together with a big monitor wall.

    I had once an interview that way - it was for a TV station so they had the equipment 20 years ago already.

    A few years back we had a student reunion: While the majority of us were in Germany, a fellow student and I met here in Australia (otherwise 1500 km apart) and joined them online for a bit.

    But outside that video chat we had real company too

    Im wird heute diskutiert, welche Schreibweise bei Uhrzeiten bevorzugt wird: Text oder Zahlen.

    Ich kann mich nicht mal erinnern, das schon mal gemusst zu haben.
    Aber wenn der Fall aufträte, würde ich versuchen, mich möglichst nahe am Sprachgebrauch zu halten:
    "Sehen wir uns um drei?"
    "Eher dreiviertel viere."
    Es wurde dann doch halb vier.

    Habe mal meine damalige Freundin in Hannover versetzt. Dreiviertel acht am Kino. Ich war da. Sie nicht.

    Nicht 100% der gleichen Meinung zu sein ist nicht gleich spalten.

    Ich weiß, Vergleiche hinken. Ich mache es trotzdem - und Infantilisierung ist nicht die Absicht dahinter.

    Als Vater kennt man das, wenn Kinder "nerven". Da schaltet das Gehirn auf Durchzug, und es kommt ab und an ein "Hmmh" oder "Ja", während man ganz wo anders ist.

    Es besteht die Gefahr, dass auch Klimaktivist:innen "nerven". Das Resultat ist weniger,nicht mehr Aufmerksamkeit.

    Das sollte frau/man bedenken

    Übrigens: Die Eismonde von Jupiter und Saturn kann man sich annäherungsweise wie in dieser aufwendigen Visualisierung vorstellen. Oben eine entfernt an Schlagsahne erinnernde kryovulkanisch erzeugte Eiskruste und darunter ein mächtiger Ozean aus Kaffee. Fachleute halten daher eine nähere Untersuchung mit Raumsonden vor Ort durchaus für lohnenswert.
