I gotta say, I wish people would not feel obligated to put mood enhancing background music on their videos. emo or techno or ambient or whatever, I can't even watch content on some sites without turning the sound off (weather.com for a random example).

@cenbe yeah that too ;) I generally prefer text to video for most things.News sites (like CNN) are quite annoying in their attempts to foist videos and animated GIFs on you. Weather videos are a thing I look at.

Lately I've been trying to find some bathroom accessories, namely small vanity and medicine cabinet. The big online and box stores aren't thrilling me- but it's tough to find alternatives. I'll probably end up settling for that though.

It's Wednesday, normally trash day but I didn't go today. No real need this week, plus still a bunch of activity here(*). The rest of the downstairs windows are in now- some finishing will be done tomorrow and the next day, and then I'll be much freer (i.e. more alone). Still will be some activity here as circumstance permit but not constant and that too will pass.(**)

@IzabelaKaramia I haven't been keeping up on mastodon very well -- I can see here that you and Ginza appear to be moving. Bon Vogage, I hope it goes well. I've enjoyed the experience with Ginza from afar, it's a great thing. I hope you both settle in well (I'm assuming this is a long-term move but I don't really know). Keep a close watch on each other.

Ideal order to memorize time tables:

  1. Learn what multiplication is by adding and counting arrays.
  2. Memorize 2s
  3. Memorize 12s and 13s
  4. Memorize 3s and 7s
  5. Memorize perfect squares to 17

Everything else should kind of flow from the above or there are tricks and patterns to help.

My parent's new place only has basic amenities. The fridge has no ice cube maker, so Mom is using ice cube trays. The freezer is small, so they take up room. I bought them a countertop igloo ice machine when they first moved in. Mom said NO, too extravagant, so I returned it. She then began to complain about the ice cube trays taking up room. I said she needed an ice cube maker. She finally agreed. I got her one for Christmas. She found out today that I bought it and said NO, too extravagant. 🤦‍♀️
