I had to let this sink in a bit. At the latest meeting of the @phpugffm I did a very personal talk about #depression. First I was very unsure if it's the right place for it because it's a tech centered user group. But the feedback was overwhelming. It encouraged constructive discussions and the attendees were extremely thankful. It was awesome. #NotJustSad #YouAreNotAlone.

So this was my first computer. I used it as a young kid in the 80s, and was entranced by it. I learned how to program on it, then kept going. I ended up doing college computer classes at night while I was still in high school. Since then I've acquired a university degree, written a programming book, and currently work at a tech company I co-founded.
