Bought this LP 2nd hand for £3.50 when I when I lived in England in the 1990s. I wanted it for her pop song hit from my childhood, Brand New Key. But listening to the collection, I learned Melanie was much more than a one-hit wonder. ❤️

@categulario Only 1 year, but for me, walking my dog 2 to 3 times a day, around 10 km per day, that's pretty good. I had another brand that fell apart in 6 months!

I needed something to take my mind off things, and 's 12-hour and 35-minute narration of his memoir, Did I Ever Tell You This?, proved the perfect tonic. He had me cross-referencing his movies and song references, nodding along with his insight, and, best of all, laughing.

And afterwards, I found Sarah Kanowski's wonderful episode with Sam, which had me smiling and laughing again (link below).

Hope you enjoy both and have a laugh, too. ❤
