Today was a day for getting up early, loading the dog into the car and heading for the beach where the low winter sun made for some interesting shadows!
I started walking in 1999, first with a neighbor, then over the years with other neighbors, and a succession of dog partners. Whatever keeps you going, keep doing that.

Black tea, no sugar in a 16oz enamel camping (aka everyday) mug that has lived a life of ahem 'thorough' cleaning after each use.

Dog and I strolled through the #wetlands in the north of #Berlin yesterday. We live nearby and that's one of our favourite walks. Sometimes the area is very wet, sometimes rather dry, but yesterday it was just great. I had to take off my shoes a couple of times to cross the puddles and got muddy black feet. For some years the area around Berlin is Germany's driest area now, so I'm very #grateful for the rain and moderate temperatures these days.
