Dug out my #piStomp Core #RaspberryPi-based guitar #effects pedal. This thing is super flexible and powerful--and fun. Unfortunately, my soldering was a little iffy and I need to do some rework before it's stable enough for live use. Meanwhile, it's fun to mess with and customize the sounds. This is meant to be an #AiC sort of sound.

How do you feel about physical touch? I mean this is the broad sense, not necessarily in a sexual way, but you can answer however you wish.

Personally, I enjoy it a lot, and find it comforting, but only from really specific people. If strangers or people I don't know well want to hug me, it's okay, but I won't seek it out. I think handshakes are weird. Hey, you want to hold hands with a stranger for a short amount of time for some reason?

Regarding the “ActivityPub vs. Bluesky” controversy, I’m getting tired of the tech press treating the Fediverse as though it’s some sort of hivemind. So if you’re a journalist who’s following me, please know this:

I am part of the Fediverse. I don’t base my opinions, decisions, or actions on the whims of a mob. Nor do I base things on an unwritten “social code” – which no one has exactly articulated in any exact detail.

I make my own judgements based on my own values, not the mob’s.

And my judgement says that if the majority of interactions on Bluesky prove to be negative, I will block the bridge – just as I have with Nostr.

I speak for myself. Do not mistake the mob’s opinion for my own.
