Until it actually goes in the laundry bag, it's an open question. Like if it's just on the floor, well, yeah, maybe the open air has sanitized it somehow. Once it goes in the bag, it needs to go in the machine.

One of my best friends was seeing a guy for about a month. She came down to visit me with another of our friends. She owed her new boyfriend 25 euro from the day before and the guy was pestering her about it the very next day, so we thought it would be a harmless and mildly funny joke to send him 24.99. We laughed and thought nothing of it. Innocent little har har thing.

Well, one of his best friends starts sending my friend abuse, calling her all sorts of names and asking who raised her...

Got to do my first community club jam night in two months. My back had been bothering me all week, but thanks to the magical healing power of bass guitar it is going much better after a few hours of playing. I have no explanation but I'll take it.

Anyone use Logitech trackballs and have any opinion on the difference between the MX Ergo and the Ergo M575 and why one is twice as much money?

I used the M570s for years but I do like the 575 quite a bit. It has both bluetooth and the traditional USB radio plug, so I actually use it with multiple machines that way--BT with my laptop, plug with my desktop.

If the MX is more durable (especially the microswitch for left click), that might be a reason to spring for it alone. I have replaced them when they wear out, but only with maybe 50% success rate.

So I got to tour Blackbird Studio today and ask questions and it took EVERYTHING I HAD not to fondle the collection sitting in a rack because they all had that worn finish that says "this is a good instrument that gets played a lot"

Watching one of my copies of on and despite my deep and abiding affection for this movie, it is one hell of a cheese fest 😂.

Truly amusing that they cast a French guy as a Scotsman and a Scotsman as a Spaniard (by way of ancient Egypt lol).

Clancy Brown delivers an impeccable performance, as usual.

Sword fights, immortals and unbelievably clunky dialog.

Oh, and based on how Lambert looks in Southland Tales (most recent role I remember him in) he might actually be immortal...

Never saw any of those, though Clancy Brown makes the idea somewhat attractive.

My first exposure to Terry Pratchett and Discworld was The Wee Free Men, and after ages of reading a bit when I could find time I finished the second book (A Hat Full Of Sky).

I'm absolutely loving the Tiffany Aching books... Like possibly fav of all time books for me.

I was going to move right into Wintersmith but my kid's been reading them too, and they're currently working on it and I just want them to be able to enjoy.

So, aside from the Tiffany books, I've got Mort and Equal Rites, and I opted to go for Mort.

You can tell right away this is one of the earlier books. The writing isn't quite as slick, and it definitely leans more into the less serious, more parody elements.

Too early yet to tell if I like it, but I like the premise.

I picked up the recent Humble Bundle of Pratchett ebooks so I've been able to experience them all in fairly rapid succession. He definitely gets more polished and pointed in social criticism in the later books. I am really enjoying them.
