I have been a loyal iOS user since the first iPod Touch, but this very blatant and public anti-customer behavior leaves me feeling really icky.

I might have to take another look at the Android side.

Every single Monday, I open the #Max app to watch #LastWeekTonight, it is never on my home screen, I have to manually search for the show.

What I DO see on the home screen is resume for the last 30 seconds of last weeks episode.

This is only part of why the Max app sucks.

Small battles with AppStore review.

Apparently they don't understand #lemmy yet and think we are infringing on a trademark inappropriately.

They have asked we remove the word "Lemmy" from #mlem's Subtitle... I am afraid when they get back to me they will be concerned that the word appears like 4 times in our app description.

@ivory did you have this issue with #Mastodon?

The thing about the #steamdeck alternatives, none of these companies, Asus, ROG, or Lenovo, have any incentive to continue support on released devices.

They aren't building a platform like #Valve, they are simply selling some hardware.

I appreciate the competition, but in my opinion, the steam deck experience will beat the others out any day.

A friend convinced me to start reading the Stormlight Archive book series.

I knew Brandon Sanderson also did some of the last Wheel of Time books and I had a real hard time sticking with that series. Something with the writing style didn't hook me. I was expecting these books to hit me the same way, but so far it's been a pretty easy read.

@ivory before the latest update, all of my followed tags would be visible in the tags tab, now for some reason I can’t see #steamdeck if I type it in, it also doesn’t show up. It works fine in other mastodon clients. Does this make any sense to you? I’m so confused.

I also get a different set of search results depending if I capitalize S or not, with steam deck still not included.
