A friend convinced me to start reading the Stormlight Archive book series.

I knew Brandon Sanderson also did some of the last Wheel of Time books and I had a real hard time sticking with that series. Something with the writing style didn't hook me. I was expecting these books to hit me the same way, but so far it's been a pretty easy read.

Guys, I have a revolutionary new idea on how to solve traffic and make travel more accessible

First, we take multiple cars and have them drive behind one another

Next, to make them faster, we build a special lane for them so they aren’t slowed by other traffic

I've managed to stop biting my fingernails for about 2 weeks now and I think they're probably near the longest they've ever been in my life. Typing has become difficult and weird. I constantly feel them and are aware of them... I can feel the nails pushing past the skin that used to kind of enclose the chewed up nails.... constantly reminding me to bite them but I try to resist.... Hrrrnnnng. (That's the sound of resisting biting my nails.)

I did it. I finally did it. After all these years, all the time I spent searching, I found the last known fully offline build for Graal classic.

Back in the day, as a kid, there was a free shareware game that I played an obnoxious amount of times: Graal. Not the shitty “Graal classic” we have today, (it’s a shell of its former self), but the original Graal 1.4.0; I searched EVERYWHERE and I couldn’t even get a blip more than old forums about the game reminiscing...

@CARROT I fee like you could probably do something cool in the app with multiple radar stations and multiple tilts to build some sort of 3D visualization 🤔. Have you thought about that?

I want a game like #Cosmoteer or #SpaceHaven, but with multiple z-levels (like Prison Architect 2), and space exploration in three dimensions.

I want to make actual multi-floor ships with objects that span several floors, power, life support, water and sewer. Build cruisers, corvettes, and colony ships.

That would be awesome.

People, listen… you can’t censor subtitles, alt text, or accessibility labels that are not also censored audibly or visually.

Deaf and Blind people are just as capable of handling a profanity as a someone who can see or hear.

IMO this goes against the ideals of accessibility and is a form of ableism.

The algorithm vs chronological debate is a forever debate and like both under different circumstances. I'd welcome having just boosts be algorithmic... or if even I could have my boosts spaced out automatically so I'm not spamming everyone with a avalanche of posts for a topic they may not even care about.

I'd boost more if could do it without flooding other people's feeds.

One thing I can say with full confidence about Steam Deck is that, Proton just keeps getting better. Every time I come back from a break using it, the games run better.

I'm REALLY looking forward to the Deck's next hardware version.

@MonaApp is the feed view in Mona written in UIKit or SwiftUI? Your feed view is so stable and smooth in a way I’ve not seen done with SwiftUI.
