@purplepadma it is so powerful, in fact, that some people manage their schizophrenia with it, their ADHD, treatment resistant depression, anxiety disorders, the list goes on.
While I can't speak specifically about being bipolar, I wholeheartedly encourage you to try.
And of course, don't change your meds without your doctor's approval (maybe you don't need to hear it, but I need to say it).
As a #bipolar woman, receiving the command/wish to smile, however gently phrased and well-intended, feels like an overwhelming burden. It also reminds me of performing for the family business---the ministry. So, let's just say, I don't want anyone messing with my resting face. lols.

hast du aber eine #psychose, #schizophrenie, #ptbs, bist #bipolar, #borderline oder hast ne #suchterkrankung dann musst du schon scheisse viel glück haben damit dich jemand abholt
@monkee@pmj Mein "Lieblingseffekt" ist erschrockenes Zurückweichen von Ärztys, wenn ich meine Diagnose nenne, weil sie dann nicht wirklich wissen, was sie tun sollen.
Ich leb schon sehr lange damit und es wird besser, aber zu langsam.
Gegen den Mangel an guten Therapiemöglichkeiten hilft es aber nicht, dass Ärztys aus anderen Fachbereichen Grundwissen haben.

For a side project, I have been poking around the topic of #bipolar disorder and cognitive impairment. It’s grim reading; even in remission, people with BD have impaired verbal memory, attention and executive function. If you have BD you most likely do have additional challenges. You’re not just being rubbish! #MentalHealth
Has anyone else experienced psychiatric side-effects with Methocarbamol as a muscle relaxant? I have spastic #neuropathy and was prescribed, but after a month of feeling increasingly anxious and angry, I spent four solid days awake. Did the math, called my doc, stopped the med, but boy heck was that horrid! I'm #Bipolar RC, and I take Abilify along with Strattera for my ADHD. I had a similar, but less severe reaction to Flexaril, but doctor assured me this was different. Any alternatives known?
