I had not considered that one could blame #Trump (but now also #Biden) for escalating tensions in #Israel#Palestine. The efforts to work out better government relationships between a much more right-wing Israel and other countries in the region did not consider the interests of the Palestinians. If successful, they would have further isolated a people already totally fucked. Just more evidence that it's ridiculous to claim #October7th was unprovoked. it was not a peace that helped the Palestinians. it was to work out a deal with dictators so that they would STFU about the people Israel was treating like shit.
you seem to be misunderstanding me. the leaders are dictators who do not care about their own people, much less the Palestinians. but they pretend to care about both, to the degree necessary to prevent themselves being overthrown. the US wants compliance from whoever runs these nations.
and refugees are not really the issue with Palestine. many left over the decades, but Israel wants them all gone. the people want to retain their land w/o mistreatment.
