Visited the “Monuments & Myths” exhibit of sculptures by Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Daniel Chester French currently at the #FristArtMuseum in #Nashville. #art
The room with a bronze statue of the Greek goddess Diana and a life-size photograph of “The Puritan” statue, both by Saint-Gaudens, leaves little doubt of the curator’s thoughts on #WomensRights. 😂
Happy #eclipse day for all those who observe. I am not in the #totality path here in #Nashville, but the youngest daughter in #Vermont is, with a front row seat. And 7 years ago I was one of you and I took my own photo as a keepsake.
#Nashville PSA: There were no trolleys (streetcars) in the 'trolley barns' at Rolling Mill Hill. Nashville's Streetcars (which is what we called them) were phased out in early 1941, the same year those buildings were opened, for use by public works. The actual streetcar barns were where the Municipal Auditorium sits today. https://nashvillehistory.blogspot.com/2022/01/the-trolley-barns-that-never-were.html
Hey #nashville and #tnwx friends, @ai6yr graciously created a NWS Nashville bot @nwsnashville_bot if you’re interested in getting some weather info here on Mastodon.

It's the emotional stuntedness of power hungry people that creates these dystopias
