Rjdlandscapes,

's new the 5 entry level model will have 40kwh but no DC fast charging

Is this acceptable for 25k euro in 2024/25 ??

@Rjdlandscapes I doubt it!

@Rjdlandscapes no.

I just bought a 1 year old EV with 3000km, 50kWh and 100kW fast charge for that money. Limited edition too 😁

2nd hand market is solid now; new sales will need to compete with older, but more upmarket cars for sure.

Rjdlandscapes,

@Slash909uk

I guess you might only charge at home and do local trips but how much is this going to be saving vs utility of being able to go on longer trips when you need too

@Rjdlandscapes even if you don't use it most of the time, the perceived lack of utility would put me off. Would you buy a car without a jack for changing the tyre?
I'd guess it saves them some wiring and the socket? Maybe less cooling? It won't save development costs as they already have their car platform with fast charging in other models.

Rjdlandscapes,

@Slash909uk yeah I'm assuming the 52kwh model has DC charging

@Rjdlandscapes Cute though.
