https://www.washingtonpost.com/newsletters/how-to-read-this-chart/ @pbumpNo state sees more pedestrian deaths per population than New Mexico.
The GHSA estimates that pedestrian traffic fatalies rose by 77 percent since 2010, compared to a 25 percent increase for all other fatalities. Traffic is getting deadlier, but particularly for people who aren’t actually part of that traffic.
