OOH. On a ferry on the Sognefjord in Norway and AIS tells me this car ferry we just passed is the Ampere, the world’s first battery electric car ferry. It’s been operating in this fjord since 2015. 1000kWh Li-ion battery, aluminium hull, takes 120 cars.
