@rodricels@pcambra At some level, it feels a lot like optimizing the event for its revenue generation for the organizers (the DA "technostructure") rather than for the community whence said technostructure emerged. ISTR that is a well-documented phenomenon in organizations theory, but I don't' have the name at had.
