Let’s be fair. While I totally get the mistrust of #Meta but this uproar is for what? People having a meeting? Companies have people sign NDA for the smallest of things. Remember #Meta has never come out with any details regarding their project. They’ve only publicly verified they’ve been working on a text based project. All known information has been leaked information. By inside influencers & the most recent leak was a meeting by a #Meta employee. From Meta’s stance they have no released ANY public information regarding #P92 thus it absolutely makes sense to have NDA signed #fediverse#mastodon#pixelfed
@Uwu NDA’s can keep damn near anything quiet as long as it’s not illegal activity (even this is a grey area) heck some famous people have people sign NDA before going on dates or sex. I’m working on a Fediverse project and I’ve had plenty of people sign NDA’s. You have to remember known of the information known about Meta’s project has been publicly released by Meta themselves
