Lemmy is a straight-up Reddit clone. It works exactly like old-school Reddit, but fediverse.

Kbin is a blend of Reddit and Twitter. You can see things in a threaded view (Reddit-style) or a feed view (Twitter-style). This replicates how modern Reddit lets you post on your profile, but represents those as effectively Mastodon Toots. (Like this one!)

@bowreality Both kbin and lemmy are part of the fediverse so they do communicate. The first post I saw on kbin was from a lemmy instance :D
