@etam The main advantage over open qa is ease of use and setup. Also, it doesn't insert anything into the running VM. So you can test anything so long as you can inject keypresses :)

Can I do post-install testing with this? Like, does it have the ability to reboot, wait for the system to come back up, and then continue running tests?

@ali1234 Yes. I have a test case to do basic post-install testing. It waits for the GDM3 login prompt, logs in, and runs a couple of applications, then powers the system off gracefully. I'll push it to the repo later.

@ali1234 The latest release (0.3.1) has a sample which can run after the full install of Ubuntu 24.04. It's super basic, just logs in, runs through the first-run wizard then launches an app, takes a screenshot and shuts down.
