Bringing Back Gladiatorial Games

What do you think about bringing back actual, live Gladiatorial games, involving participants fighting each other to the death in front of a live-TV audience, a panel of judges like on America's Got Talent/X Factor, fights with different historical themes like "The Battle of Verdun" or "Antietam", fights with animals like elephants and nautical battles with whales, etc....

Would also be a good way to reduce the prison population and the burden it poses on the taxpayer, as well as to employ tens of thousands of people in the whole fighting industry.
