Someone should try scolding random leftists on Lemmy about voting. As everyone knows, leftists using ActivityPub-based social media are the real kingmakers in the United States political system.
There’s no way they’ll listen. I didn’t listen to anyone when I was a teenager either. The only difference, is these kids are hell-bent on fucking things up for everyone with their anti-vote shit.
Biden is the politician running to win the election. It’s on him to make sure that he gets the most votes. Blaming Palestinians or voters in general for not voting for the guy enabling a genocide is not going to work to get more people to the polls. It’s on Biden.
While I agree, “I’m better that the other guy” might not motivate enough people to the polls. It SHOULD because Trump is a fascist nutter, but people are so stupid it’s incredible.
