...I amend my previous "The Firm" post that said the main character and his wife bought hook line and sinker. Five minutes into socializing with these people the wife picks up less than subtle clues something is amiss. "The firm doesn't forbid me getting a job," says one wife that is attending the social gathering the firm threw after they arrived. "The firm encourages having children," another one by the same wife.
For some reason I never thought much of these less than subtle hints when I was an early-20s male watching this movie back in the day. /sarcasm
@taylormccue i like the original cover a lot, and the first (red/blue) cover i love; but that's probably because it reminds me of porpentine's work, which i like a lot, but might have baggage or be a niche association for anyone looking in places where the game might pop up for them, if that makes sense. i'm very happy that anything i say is useful to you <3
@jtth I don't think there's any shame in that. I have had people say that I'm also just like Anna Anthropy's dysphoria and I think it's unavoidable to get compared to trans women who came before me. x_x
It's always a little uncomfortable but I've sorta accepted it that it'll be looked at as part of the larger world of trans stuff.
Ultimately I'm just grateful people care and your advice has been super useful for the cover stuff.
