@dgar you've forgotten the documentation, which should be somewhat ambiguous and missing a crucial step that can only be found 3/4 of the way through a very long obscure mailing list thread from 15 years ago. I <3 Linux though ;-)
@dgar Did no-one else look at that picture and wonder what kind of cake they're making? Those proportions are VERY confusing. My eyes say:
1 cup unsalted butter
7 eggs in a bowl, unseparated
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp vanilla
2 cups milk
3 cups sugar
2 cups flour (larger bowl)
1 cup flour (smaller bowl - and why two bowls?)
No leavening
That's just ... I mean ... what kind of cake would that even make?
