Es ist schon interessant - wann immer ich auf bzw. X positiv über die Ökonomin Elinor poste, gehen Rechtslibertäre die Wand hoch. Hier auf sind es dagegen häufiger dogmatische Marxist:innen. @BlumeEvolution "Psychologisch fällt es mir dabei etwas leichter, denn gierigen Egoismus von Rechtslibertären zu verstehen, die in jeder Form von Staatlichkeit eine Verschwörung gegen den vermeintlich unfehlbaren Markt und damit auch ihre vermeintliche Überlegenheit erkennen."
Kann mir Mal jemand helfen? Und wieso muß der böse Staat die Typen dann regelmäßig retten, wenn sie es Mal wieder komplett verzockt haben? Und wieso geht das dann auch immer problemlos, im Gegensatz zu z.B. Bürgergeld?

Give a thought, and list what it looks like. Don't just say "the end of democracy." List what the concrete changes will be and make it local.     Pressure on everything looking "too liberal", e.g. what books you get in your bookshop (+ replaced by "correct" books)
    What gets reported in newspapers and electronic media.
    Trying to set up the equivalent of the "Great firewall" to block of all opposing content on the internet.
    People feeling frightened go into hiding.
    A big problem to know, to whose of your friends you can talk, without risking prosecution.

    Sorts of intimidation, like gatherings acting violently, e.g. if you don't act enthusiastic enough.
    Beating up of people in their homes, marked before as "the others".
    "Aligned" plans for education in schools and universities. Not agreeing teachers, judges, civil servants etc. replaced.
    New laws, very "flexible" in who to prosecute, thus threatening just everyone.
    Replacement of flags etc. by party symbols.
    Changed oaths for officials, pleading loyalty to "the movem."

    Basically, all the stuff you can read about in Sebastian Haffners "Geschichte eines Deutschen" who describes his experience with Nazi Germany.
    Basic thing: everything gets aligned with the new movement; it is called "totalitarianism" for a reason!

    @Radical_EgoCom Unfortunately, I have seen this at least to struggle even in a small circle (<20) of friends, after the organizer of our yearly skiing hut had to realise that he miscalculated the contributions, because the hut lasted longer than usual.
    The biggest discussions about adding contributions had been with a (back then) DINK, who went to another location afterwards, paying for a day, what they paid for the whole 2 week hut...
    So I don't know how this should work on a big scale.

    86 years ago, sirens sounded in Guernica as the Nazis carpet-bombed civilians. Today, they sound again for the Palestinian people in Gaza being slaughtered by Israel.

    Amazing how there’s no media coverage of this to speak of in the West although even Times of Israel covered Guernica’s 80th anniversary.

    Auf das Gelände des Hamburger Flughafens ist am Samstagabend ein bewaffneter Autofahrer eingedrungen. Der Flugbetrieb wurde auf unbestimmte Zeit komplett eingestellt.

    Nach Polizeiangaben hat der Mann ein vier Jahre altes Kind als Geisel in seinem Auto. Möglicherweise ist ein Sorgerechtsstreit eskaliert. Polizeisprecherin Sandra Levgrün sagte NDR 90,3 am Sonntagmorgen, es werde seit mehreren Stunden mit dem Geiselnehmer verhandelt.
