as much as I wanted the twitter after party to land on mastodon tbh im thankful people have choices and that we have space to be weirdos over here. My brain is not the same since I decamped for this strange galaxy, and in the best way
@seachanger i haven’t tried 🧵(I refuse to give that rich dude my attention) nor Bluesky (still waitlisted), but of all the other alternatives, this seems to hold the highest density of Alaska Twitter users outside Twitter - and Alaska Twitter itself is starting to feel a bit like Swiss cheese due to noticeable exodus.
@seachanger I feel the same. I’m so grateful to have space to think here and to encourage anyone who wants to figure it out here. And I’m glad people have choices if they’d rather be elsewhere.
@seachanger there is huge pitch for federation. I hope Threads claim to support AP is not just marketing tud. Surely, some execs must see why it has to be allowed to talk to each other.
