An unearthed clip shows #MikeJohnson promoting an app called “Covenant Eyes” which “scans your devices” and “sends a report” to someone if you view “sinful” material. The app says “defeat porn.”
@GottaLaff I helped a client recently who was having trouble with a website and it turned out Covenant Eyes was the culprit - and he had no way to disable it. He had to get his hard drive wiped & OS reinstalled.
And I read somewhere that a former user was called out for their pr0n by their pastor. It’s Religious Big Brother.
@GottaLaff Do they have the first clue that millions upon millions of people can say no to porn if they want to? No shock treatments, storm troopers, 24-hour surveillance?
@GottaLaff Mike Johnson either has a serious problem with viewing porn, or wants to see what his son sees. Or something. There is no non-creepy explanation. Why are these conservative Christians always so obsessed with sex?

Damn, thinking about this. I mean... christians designed an app to alert the flock on the red-flags in their browsing history being searchable, and what might cause trouble for them down the road. It's obviously not about purity of spirit. It's about secrecy and protection by institutions of abuse.
It's terrifying, the scope of the organization underneath the organizations.
