@Jaden2 Sometimes we have to smile before we can feel it, but smiles can be hopeful and lead to future better feelings. There’s a lot to be said for a nature walk when things are tough, too.
But it’s a weird fact that our bodies and minds respond to smiles (ours and other people’s), helping us feel happier even when we don’t start off feeling up. So it’s good to do in case it helps us or someone else. People are friendlier to folks that smile at them too, so it can change your experience in the world as well. Strange but true.
