I really enjoyed hearing Liam from @gamingonlinux on the latest Linux Downtime .

As always, great insights on the state of gaming & from someone who's been covering it for 14 years.

I'd love to hear someone devote an entire podcast episode to this topic: Does have TOO much of a stake in Linux gaming? What happens if they stop investing effort into it?

Give it a listen: https://linuxdowntime.com/linux-downtime-episode-70/

@killyourfm Thanks for the kind words my dude :)

To clarify: I'm not particularly concerned, but I do have a hope that eventually the user share rises and more jump on board :)

@gamingonlinux Ah I might have misheard that. Anyway, it was a fantastic episode. Do more of these!

@gamingonlinux Edited to remove the words from your mouth <3

chaslinux,

@gamingonlinux @killyourfm I still mostly but games with a Linux-native version, but occasionally I'll buy one that runs under Proton.

@killyourfm @gamingonlinux I don't believe they do... They've strengthened the tools that allow Windows games to run on Linux, and aren't holding onto them with an iron fist. I think if they just straight up stopped bothering then Lutris/GE-Proton would pick up some of the slack, but it would be a lot less friendly to new users.
