So playing with 6.9 on an AMD 5800X3D - Started looking through the documentation and noticed that there were some Kernel flags for amd_pstate and amd_pcore. Set these to "amd_pstate=active amd_prefcore=enable" in grub and rebooted and now benchmarks are ever so slightly higher, but also geekbench reports a different clockspeed.

This looks interesting

Hurl is a command line tool that runs HTTP requests defined in a simple plain text format.

It can chain requests, capture values and evaluate queries on headers and body response. Hurl is very versatile: it can be used for both fetching data and testing HTTP sessions.

Hurl makes it easy to work with HTML content, #REST / SOAP / GraphQL APIs, or any other XML / JSON based APIs.

(Built with #rustlang powered by #curl)

@dgoosens Is there any way to get it to output the [captures] to stdout after running?

Thanks to @saghul for the perfect illustration of the problems with chatGPT:

@steely_glint @saghul Oddly, it gives me the correct answer.

@steely_glint @saghul Ah I was on GPT4, dropping back to GPT3.5 and yeah it's dumb...

solarisfire,
@solarisfire@mast.solarisfire.com avatar

@steely_glint @saghul It makes me wonder if they specifically manipulated the training data for GPT4 so it answers that correctly now... or if it learned to do so with no specific manipulation to the data set...

itโ€™s 100% a psychological thing but i do think music from my tangara sounds better than other sources

solarisfire,
@solarisfire@mast.solarisfire.com avatar

@jacqueline An audiophile seeks to experience music with high fidelity, prioritizing accuracy to the original recording. They prefer a flat response curve in audio equipment, which ensures all frequencies are reproduced equally. Neutral reproduction mirrors the original mix, revealing the intended balance without distortion. Bass boosts artificially emphasize low frequencies, distorting the natural sound. Audiophiles value equipment that authentically represents the music without enhancement.

If games look better with upscaled images (DLSS) than natively rendered, then girls look better with makeup than naturally. Just my two cents.

solarisfire,
@solarisfire@mast.solarisfire.com avatar

@darth Depends on the game and the art style tbh, can't paint all games with the same brush. Some look trash with DLSS, some don't look bad at all... (Same with makeup, some people are better with / without).
