People gotta accept that we're in an ongoing power struggle with these platforms and until we start notching some wins, they're going to abuse us more and more.
Killing X, Reddit, or Substack - three platforms that dared their users to leave and so far have more or less won their bets - would do more to reign in Meta than 1000 more instances defederating Threads.
To do that, we have to get organized and strategic, to treat this as a long term, interconnected political fight, not just a series of loosely organized campaigns.
