@jamesthomson I love the fact that the running total (of tips) updates immediately after the IAP completes. Just the kind of touch that keeps me tipping. I hope you get a (Apple) Vision Pro and we get to hear you talk about it on numerous podcasts.
@gelphman Thanks so much! I think I added a variety of emoji expressions of happiness as the total goes up too. I’ve ordered one, now I just need to get it to the other side of the world :)

I’m referring to the ”I am rich” app for $999, but since it was before IAP was introduced, I guess you could be first (or early to the scene), had you in fact done that for real, which … you won’t 🤔🤨🧐😂
@jamesthomson@sdarlington Maybe you already knew this (I didn’t): I thought apps couldn’t be sold for $999 anymore, but Apple apparently adjusted their pricing flexibilities at some point, to allow devs to request access to 100 more price points where $10k is available. So yeah, technically, you could add a $4k or other exorbitant sum in there, but Apple probably limits the acceptance of requests to certified healthcare apps and certain special enterprise apps.
@jamesthomson@stuart what if you had a bunch of tip SKUs for small amounts, each of which is a letter. Then the tipper spells out their message in a sequence of tips. Come on, you’re an engineer. You’re supposed to be hacking the available framework to your needs!
