Very cool of Amazon to put unnecessary ads in their shows just so they can charge us more money to get rid of the ads that don't need to be there in the first place.
It's the digital equivalent of the Coca-Cola Company putting rocks into cans of soda and then introducing "New and improved Rock-Free Coke, only one dollar more than the rock-filled original!".

Rocks? What does that even mean? A rock is a collection of minerals that is in a big chunk. Smaller is gravel. Then sand. Salt is a mineral. It dissolves. It's in most foods. It's probably not good for you. Chalk is a mineral. Lots of it dissolved in many places' drinking water harmlessly. Good for indigestion too. Fluoride is a mineral. Added to drinking water and toothpaste to protect teeth. They're all rocks.

It has phosphoric acid. It can dissolve things over time, just like vinegar, citric acid and other acids. or the Hydrochloric acid in your Stomach
@lowqualityfacts you can't do anything about Amazon's business decisions but you can decide not to pay extra for commercial free viewing and cancel prime. Move on.
@lowqualityfacts There was a time when Coca Cola actually proposed stocking coke vending machines with blank spots, so there was a random chance you'd have to pay twice to get a beverage.
Bafflingly, that's not a joke. It was genuinely proposed as a way to increase average selling price when vending machines coin slots could only take one nickel.
@bhaugland@lowqualityfacts for sure. I also think that if a game on Google play makes a google ad that automatically opens their Google play page whether you click it or not, the ad should not be allowed to run and if they keep doing it their app should be removed from Google play 🤷
