If you need strong adhesive pads, don't waste time with the white 3M stuff from Aliexpress. It doesn't stick, to anything really.

Go with the RED VHB stuff. That holds like an absolute mofo.

EDIT: apparently VHB stands for Very High Bonding so it's a type, not a brand, but the types and pictures still apply.

Well, we are using VHBs to stick exterior spoilers on our cars. I'd say that's self-explaining to "how good does it hold"

@schmaker amazing! I've ordered a heap more :) I was surprised how completely useless the 3M ones were. Maybe a bad batch or a knockoff product, but it didn't hold well on anything. 3D-printed hook on wood holding the jankiest, lightest pair of $3 headphones imaginable? Came off in a day.
