Cancer robbed my of two things that have made me pretty angry. I missed seeing what could possibly (probably) be Depeche Mode's last tour. I also had to cancel seeing another band I love, The Kills. I used to see so much live music and I think that part of my life is over. 😡 So for that I will say #FuckCancer
@virtualbri@MattMerk The pandemic has made concert going now pretty unsafe at the moment. Hopefully the treatment means you'll have the opportunity to see many more concerts in the future, more time to enjoy other things, albeit not "last" concerts of those.
@CStamp The live music thing also took a real hit when I left Los Angeles. I used to see huge bands I love three or four times a month. I don't think Peter Murphy (as just one example) is ever going to go on a world tour again, but he did sows in L.A. all the time! @virtualbri

I wonder if this is a use case for the #VisionPro, but one that cancer treatment centers subsidize the cost / provide as an amenity to promote healing in the treatment of patients: immersive, intense concert experiences.
@AshleyMarineP I just think that with COVID being ever present and my immune system being destroyed, I think seeing live music in indoor settings is just something that I'll just have in my memories. The music is still there though.
