@timrichards@humanhorseshoes yeah I have a friend who posted a “merry Christmas from us” post on Instagram and he was holding something that I thought was a baby, so I thought, that was quick they’ve a new baby, I congratulated them and went on my merry way, months later we met in Helsinki and he said he and his wife were going to India to work, and I asked who was going to look after their child.
@timrichards@humanhorseshoes He was confused, what child? And I reminded him about the instagram post. So he pulls it up and does what I didn’t, he zoomed in on the cat that he had been holding… I had to,d our mutual friends that the guy we used to work with was now married with a child… eventually they had a child
