He moved from LA to the #NewMexico desert, but was eventually drawn back to the city again.

But actually #Indigenous conservationists are proving that if you just leave the earth alone, many native plants spontaneously restore themselves.
The story walks through different landscapes where Native people are shepherding this process: prairies, estuaries, the sagebrush steppe, wetlands, and dunes.
