Sometimes as of late my mind thinks about the nature vs nurture idea and I wonder how much behavior is learned from a toxic cultural framework that rewards greed, violence, and hierarchy.
But even if you could raise people in a framework without those perverse incentives, would there still be some people who engage in those ways of being?
I wonder if exhausted might be a better word to describe the tired feeling I have to work with and around much of the time. The word tired in current culture is seen as trivial and easily surpassed.
But maybe exhausted is a better term, better expresses the feeling, and may be better understood by those who hear it.
In terms of good news and things getting to an even keel, at least now it seems I've gotten the basal dose of insulin better titrated again so at least blood sugars are staying in a better range.
Which will hopefully reduce loss of spoons caused by needing to fret over bad blood sugars and figuring out what's going on.
