@kitoconnell I like mine, a folding fat-tire step-thru ebike. 500W rear motor. 5 pedal assist settings, plus a throttle. I need to improve the seat somehow, though, haven't solved that yet.
The throttle is hugely useful for hill starts, saves my knees a bit. 10-20km rides are no big deal, even with the not quite right seat. I maxed out at 10km on my old mountain bike.
At 78 pounds, it's a hefty unit. Too heavy to use bus bike racks.
@kitoconnell I own a Cannondale Topstone, which is actually a reasonably nice bike to ride even when the motor is not working. Which is just as well, as the motor (a Mahle eBikeMotion X35) is currently reporting 'Error #36', and refusing to work. Generally I've been very satisfied with the bike, but this failure is unacceptable.
@vees@kitoconnell One of the reasons I like my bafang mid-drive is that it's easily programmable (with a $15 cable). You can set the voltage & speed limit for each assist level.
