Q:
how to separate the car names in the plot, so they are more readable...?.

Right now, some name labels in the plot are "bunched" together,
on top of each other.
(Hard to read the name labels...).

UPDATE:
I tried pos=4 (instead of pos =1)
and enlarged the plot size
in Rstudio:

Add text labels for car names (optional)

text(mds_results, labels = rownames(mtcars), col = "blue", cex = 0.62, pos = 4 )

and the blue car name labels are now really separated and readable in the plot...THANKS!
