@TomF That brings up an interesting question of whether there are operations that can't be performed by a Turing machine and if they might be necessary for some interpretation of AI (eg whatever we've decided Artificial General Intelligence is this week). But yes of course the whole conversation has now been obscured by marketing speak.

@aeva @TomF @Farbs From what I remember of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, the AI The Chinese Room put in there wasn't particularly noticeable.
The 1980's Chinese Room thought experiment however...
