I had a friend who thought she had conquered the laundry. When I would talk about having so much to wash or fold she stated that she, her kids, and husband simply didn’t wash their clothes. Pants would be worn until they were visibly dirty. Shirts could be worn until they smelled. Not sure her philosophy on socks/underwear or towels.

Look. Live your life. But please wash anything that touches your bare skin. Even towels. All the dead skin, swear, oils… just…

I admit her logic is sound. Won’t be no laundry if you don’t consider anything dirty.

Her kids also only bathed 1-2 times a week. Then wore a shirt 3-5 times before she considered it dirty…

Granted, I’m messy. Everything has a spill on it by the end of the day.

Then what? Did she throw stuff away and buy new?

@qurlyjoe they did eventually wash it. But they would have like a single total load each week for a family of 4.

I suppose it could be argued that this is ecologically sound, if you had a big enough washer.
