The Washington Post published a nice investigation showing how India's far-right government has started to adopt Putin's tactic of assassinating opposition figures even in powerful countries like Canada and the USA.
Hopefully, the authoritarians' hubris will help cause their downfall.
@GreenFire I saw the headline, & it's frightening. Power & money in the hands of sadistic sociopaths, many who are leaders & shakers, are plaguing the world.
I fear that won't be the case. The emerging pattern is that the world's right-wing extremist strongmen are allied with each other, and against their own and each other's countries.
I'm reminded of May 2017, when Erdoğan ordered his thugs to brutally beat innocent Americans, on American soil, in broad daylight, in the middle of Washington. Erdoğan did that with Trump's blessing, and, no doubt, with Trump's admiration.
