I currently don't have any cool underground storage things to show you, but here's my built-from-scratch mountain/riverside town. My underground base honestly isn't much. It starts in the side of a mountain so I've yet to reach diamond (I'm only about 11 layers down, each layer being 9 down 13 forward from the last one.) All of the floors have the uniform pattern and structure. I've yet to label them.
The cyan house under construction is a dye shop, the one in the middle is a general goods store and stonemason home, the one to the left is a lumber yard (I have a stone cutter to look like those Skyrim wood mills and I'll be adding a waterwheel to it soon). The house closest is just a nice beige house that has a basement/bedroom layout. Behind the beige house and smithing area is a path that leads to a small stone hut where the smith will live.
